Once there was a kind hearted farmer. Many a time, he would help other farmers in their fields. He also liked to give love and care to animals and birds. One day the farmer went to a nearby village. As he was returning, he saw an injured snake on the road. A bullock cart had run over the creature. Its wounds were bleeding. The kind farmer gently wrapped the injured snake in a cloth and brought it home. At home, the farmer put some medicine on its wounds and then went to the market to get some milk for it. When he came back, he found the snake conscious. As soon as the snake saw the farmer he jumped on him. The farmer was not prepared for such an attack. Somehow, he saved himself and said - it is very difficult to change one's nature.
